The AT1 series attenuators feature DC pass-through and are designed for applications in receiving systems such as CATV, DBS, MMDS, and VSAT.

Most satellite receivers are designed to operate with input signal levels between -60dBm and -30dBm per channel, TVs for input signal levels between -48dBm and -23dBm.

If feed signal levels to satellite receivers or TVs are too high, picture distortions will occur.

It is recommended that by inserting an attenuator into the system, the signal is reduced to less than -30dBm or -23dBm at the receiver's RF input port.

The AT1-7 series is able to meet the needs of general-purpose attenuation applications in the LF/VHF/UHF and Satellite-IF frequency range.
